Our favorite! Saul Steinbergs iconic View of the World From 9th Avenue
Originally featured on the cover of The New Yorker, it presents a humorous, New Yorker-centric view of the world in a completely playful, yet provincial, minimalist drawinga blueprint perhaps.
I like to think of the vantage point as a ships railing, and we are looking over the side at the world with our familiar and dear island jewel safe at our back. Are we leaning out of the third floor window at the Old Homestead Steakhouse after a fine meal, surveying the world?
Dimensions: 40 x 28
